In reference to banning skateboarding and bicycling from public areas, are we not talking out both sides of our mouths.

We constantly complain that our young people are not outside running and jumping, "like we used to." They spend too much of their time in front of the computer.

I would rather spend money on the paint and few repairs to fix the wear and tear they cause rather than building facilities with tax dollars for the benefit of county employees.

Let's encourage our youth and not put up roadblocks.
