A few days ago, my wife and I were traveling up Interstate 85 when we detected the odor of a deceased skunk through the air vents of our car. It was terrible and lasted for several miles up the road.
I'm beginning to smell that same odor as I read of the deplorable antics of our newly sworn county commissioner's plus one. We, as citizens of our great county, deserve better representation. I'm grateful for Billy Powell and Tom Oliver, and I say to them, stand firm and continue to serve our county in the best interest of its citizens.
Sometimes you don't realize the good thing that you have until you lose it. Where are you, Bobby Banks and Steve Gailey, when we need you?
