The planet is just about to spin out of control, don’t you think? And, riding on it, we and our country are not doing much of anything to bring it under control even if we could.

We watch TV, listen to the radio and surf the Internet, so we know what’s going on, as to events, conflicts and all the rest. But the intangibles — sometimes subtle, like corruption, political correctness, modern idolatry, tyranny and lack of spiritual convictions — are harder to recognize, as are their effects.

So is there anything we can do to improve the situation to help? In our own power, not so much. Maybe it’s time to look for outside help, supernatural help.

“There is none like you among the gods, O Lord, nor are there any works like yours.” Psalm 86:8.

You probably know the type things you would ask for were you to ask for supernatural help. I’m thinking these are the things I ought ask for:

A mighty, irrepressible Holy Wind to blow across America, awakening people, sweeping in spiritual conviction, shriveling up corruption, drying political correctness into useless chaff, replacing idols with truth and carrying tyranny away.

“A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.” Psalm 51:17.

Elected and appointed officials who will reinstate the Constitution with its Bill of Rights, govern by Judeo-Christian principles, serve with integrity and serve not themselves but We The People.

A people who will practice wise stewardship of our natural resources.

“And God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Genesis 1:28.

Better start asking. May not be much time left!
