We may all have varying opinions as to whether the Safe Georgia Protection Act makes us safer and in my opinion, it certainly does not. I thought it was interesting when a reporter asked the governor why the state Capitol was not included in the long list of places where individuals will be allowed to carry guns in July when the law takes effect. The governor mentioned that there were metal detectors at the Capitol.
