Reading the candidates’ comments in The Times is always informative. Over the years, I’ve noticed that the term “promote growth” is stated often by those seeking our vote, not only at election time but also in neighborhood and town hall meetings. I remember when Gwinnett County mounted an all-out campaign to promote growth over 30 years ago and it certainly worked.
