In his April 3 letter, Michael W. Parker used some questionable data to try to prove his point. He would do well to read John Lott’s third edition of “More Guns, Less Crime,” especially chapter 10. As I recall, Lott originally began researching crime data with the assumption that more guns would equal more crime.
