Riding home one night recently, my friend, E.P., and I couldn't help but to start reminiscing about the good old days and the good times that we had as we were amazed at the carnival or fair, or whatever they call it these days. The rides and attractions were set up right in the middle of downtown Gainesville.
As we watched with amazement, all of the people there with their kids were enjoying themselves without a care in the world, laughing and having a good time. We couldn't help but to think about the times when we were kids growing up. Those were the good old days, the good times. We were happy, peaceful and for the most part, worry-free. Don't you wish days like that could be forever?
Just sending a message to some of the younger people who just can't wait to grow up, to be an adult. You need to enjoy your childhood as long as you can and don't try to rush into adulthood. I don't think some of you will like what's in store. Enjoy your childhood, be happy, less stressful and carefree as long as you can.
