Letter: Dont tell me to move on from Trump familys ideas

There are so many things wrong with a Trump family presidency, I don’t know where to begin. I’ll never get over hearing a president say the things he said on the “Bush” tape or brag about his right to skulk around backstage at a beauty contest or use the “f” word at a rally. I won’t move on from that, and neither should you.

Mr. Trump hasn’t yet released his tax returns. Now I’m wondering if we shouldn’t also press to see the returns of his kids, since they come as a bundle deal. He’s delayed providing details about how he plans to avoid the many conflicts of interest all the Trumps will face if he takes office. Let me be clear on this — the Trumps are filthy rich, that’s a given. He can afford the best of everything. So why do you think he’s audited by the IRS year after year if he’s not cheating? Why did he settle for $25 million over Trump University if it wasn’t a bait-and-switch scam?

Go ahead and “normalize” this. I never will.

Look at his position on the U.S. intelligence community. They’ve revealed that, beyond a doubt, Russia interfered in our election. Russia found the perfect no-brained puppet in Trump, and is celebrating its victory. Now those pesky Barack Obama sanctions will be lifted, and some of the profits from every barrel of oil are going into Vladimir Putin’s pocket to keep Donald company.

Speaking of oil, the deal Exxon’s Rex Tillerson worked out with Putin before those sanctions kicked in included Russia’s 30 percent ownership of some oil fields in Texas, and off-shore blocks in the Gulf of Mexico and above Alaska and Canada. Think about that when you’re deep sea fishing off Destin, Fla., around those big Exxon oil rigs.

Consider that communist Cuba is 90 miles from Florida, and that the two small islands in the Bering Strait separate Alaska from Russia by only 2« miles. And it’s so much cheaper to get to that oil if you don’t have to go through Russian ice! I won’t move on from Trump’s denial that the CIA intelligence is wrong, because he’s “like, really smart.”

I won’t accept his hiring part-time workers under H2B visas when American workers are available. I won’t accept “fake news” as fact. I won’t pay school taxes to support anything other than public schools.

I just will not move on and accept the Trump family as my president, and neither should you.
