A dozen fifth-graders lined up Tuesday in the Wauka Mountain Multiple Intelligences Academy gymnasium, nocking arrows in their bows and firing at targets yards away. The school’s fourth- and fifth-grade archery team is headed to a national competition today and Thursday after previously competing at district, regional and state. “To qualify for that competition, we had to shoot a certain score at state,” said fifth-grader Jeremiah Telander.
