One person was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center after a wreck Sunday afternoon on Howard Road in Gainesville. A passenger car and an SUV were involved in the accident on Howard Road at Old Cornelia Highway, said Cpl. Kevin Holbrook, Gainesville Police Department spokeman. One of the vehicles made an improper left turn, leading to the crash, he said.
