A truck and motorcycle collided in front of Lanier Charter Career Academy on Tuesday afternoon.

The vehicles, driven by Christian Stewart, 18, and Daniel Farrar, 18, wrecked near the academy's exit at 4 p.m., Gainesville Police Department Lt. Carol Martin said.

Farrar, who was riding the motorcycle, was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, and Stewart didn't need medical assistance, authorities said. Neither are students at the academy.
