Police are looking for a suspect they say robbed a woman at knife point Monday in the parking lot of Wee Willy's on Industrial Boulevard in Gainesville.

The female victim was exiting her car at about 4 p.m. when a Hispanic male approached her with a knife, said Kevin Holbrook, public information officer for the Gainesville Police Department.

The suspect is described as being 20 to 25 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 140-145 pounds and with a thin mustache. At the time of the robbery he was wearing black pants, a white T-shirt and a black hat turned backward.

"The subject approached the victim, produced a knife and said something to her in Spanish," Holbrook said.

After taking the woman's wallet, the suspect ran from the scene, police said. Police used K-9 units to attempt to locate the suspect but were unsuccessful, Holbrook said.

The victim wasn't injured and the incident is under investigation.
