A young woman was airlifted to Gwinnett Medical Center this afternoon for injuries suffered when she apparently fell from a boat at Balus Creek Park. The woman received injuries to her hip, leg and back on the right side, Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell said in an email. "Apparently she was riding on the back of the boat when the speed of the boat changed as they were coming into the ramp area," Kimbrell said.
