A Gainesville woman is accused of ramming her car into another woman’s car until it struck a power pole, police said.

Shauna Ray Lower, 21, was arrested and booked Wednesday into the Hall County Jail, where she remains.

She is accused of intentionally striking a car driven by Devan Lester, 22, of Gainesville, on Feb. 16.

The incident took place at the intersection of Davis Street and Grove Street, where Lower is charged with operating a motor vehicle “with the intent to injure Devan Lester by intentionally striking her motor vehicle by pushing it into a power pole,” according to the warrants.

The crash seriously injured Lester’s jaw, police said.

Lower then allegedly left the scene “with a suspended driver’s license in reckless disregard for the safety of persons and property,” according to the warrants.

Lower was charged with aggravated assault, aggravated battery, reckless driving, aggressive driving, driving with a suspended license, following too closely and serious injury by vehicle.

No further information was provided by police.
