An orange traffic barrel hanging from the new Boling Bridge Monday, April 22, 2019, is to indicate to boaters the width of the concrete pillar hidden just below the water line. The area surrounding the bridge is also a no wake zone. Boaters have expressed concerns on social media that concrete aprons on pilings at the new Boling Bridge were poured at too low an elevation and could pose a safety threat. - photo by Scott Rogers
