Two brothers, Jake Prince, 9, and Griffin Prince, 13, who were killed in a 2012 boat wreck were remembered Tuesday at a Victims’ Rights Week event in Kenyon Plaza outside the Hall County Courthouse in Gainesville. The Hall County Solicitor’s Office and Hall County District Attorney’s Office honored Mark Stephens, Georgia Department of Natural Resources ranger 1st class, and Amber Sowers, assistant solicitor general for Hall County, for their role in the case. Paul Bennett was accused in the June 18, 2012, collision that killed the brothers.
