Vehicular homicide case moves to Superior Court
19-year-old faces DUI, vehicular homicide in death of 2-year-old nephew

A Gainesville man accused by Georgia State Patrol of hitting his 2-year-old nephew with his car April 26 had his case moved on to Superior Court on Monday. Joshua Saunders, 19, faces charges of DUI and vehicular homicide in the death of Landen Morton. Morton, according to GSP Cpl. Auston Allen, ran behind Saunders’ pickup truck while Saunders attempted to back up.
