A diverse group of businesses was disciplined Thursday by the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners for underage alcohol sales. During administrative hearings held as part of the regular meeting, commissioners issued several warning letters and three-day suspensions of sales to the establishments. Under the county’s alcohol ordinance, businesses that sell or serve alcohol to anyone younger than 21 can face a range of punishments, particularly if they have several offenses within a two-year period.
