U.S. Rep Doug Collins, R-Ga., announced he has opened offices in both Washington and downtown Gainesville.

The 9th District representative will serve his district by deploying field workers and case workers to different locations weekly to help constituents with their needs, said Loree Anne Thompson, his communications director.

The 9th District is made up of 20 counties. Collins’ office will use local public buildings, such as a courthouse or library, and set up mobile office hours. His staff will announce the hours and location beforehand, Thompson said.

“The chief goal of our mobile office hours will be to help the largest amount of people using the most fiscally responsible methods possible,” Collins said in a news release.

His district office in Gainesville is at 111 Green St. SE and the ZIP code is 30501. The office can be reached at 770-297-3388. His Washington office is open from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and the address is 513 Cannon House Office Building, Washington D.C. 20515. That office can be reached at 202-225-9893.
