1011TUMBLING2 — Norfolk Southern Railway will be placing temporary barricades at the Tumbling Circle crossing next Friday and will install permanent guardrails with reflectors at the crossing the following week.

The Georgia Department of Transportation is closing the Tumbling Circle railroad crossing near Old Oakwood Road. The DOT decided on the move last year based on “multiple collisions at that site involving automobiles and trains,” Hall County officials said in a statement released Friday. The closure takes effect next Friday.
