Tree down across Ledan Road in North Hall

A large tree fell on Ledan Road, taking down power lines with it as thunderstorms moved through North Hall County on Monday evening. The tree is roughly 10 feet in diameter, Hall County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Derreck Booth said. Jackson EMC is on the scene, Booth reported before 6 p.m. The tree was down between Wesley Drive and Southers Road, and a portion of the road was closed to traffic.
