A slowing of state transportation projects getting contracts looks to start again next year, as uncertainty over future federal funding builds anew. In January, normally, the Georgia Department of Transportation would award contracts up to $100 million, the bulk of that coming from federal sources. Instead, “we will not be having any federal (aid) projects left,” DOT Commissioner Keith Golden said.
