Training pays off for runners in Fit Families 5K

Eleven weeks of rigorous training came before the big race day for some at the Fit Families 5K at Laurel Park in Gainesville. “It all culminates to (the race),” Jacob Weiers, Wellness Facilitator for Hall County Schools, said. The weeks of training begin in February and ends with the 5K and the end of the school year.
