Traffic is set to shift Monday, June 11, near Longstreet Bridge on Cleveland Highway in North Hall as bridge replacement work continues.
Drivers will use the center turn lane as a travel lane, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.
“This shift will allow construction efforts to the new bridge to continue safely,” a DOT news release states.
The bridge crosses East Fork Little River and is near Georgia State Patrol Post 6.
The DOT is replacing Longstreet Bridge, as well as Bells Mill Bridge, farther north on Cleveland Highway, as part of an overall project costing $33 million. The work also involves rebuilding approaches to the bridge.
The work is set for completion in March 2020.
