Weather improved Sunday afternoon, including a tornado watch dropping off and an appearance by the sun, but conditions could still get rocky.
The Hall County area is under a hazardous weather outlook and wind advisory lasting until 10 p.m. April 14.
So far, only heavy rain has fallen on the area, but “scattered severe storms are expected today as a strong storm system moves across the state,” a Weather Service advisory states.
Showers and thunderstorms are likely before midnight, then a slight chance of showers is expected between midnight and 2 a.m. Monday, April 15.
Sunny skies are expected through mid-week. Showers and thunderstorms are predicted to move into the area Thursday, April 18.
