The Times’ Relay for Life team, Team Times, will host “Shred Away Cancer” from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the newspaper’s office at 345 Green St. NW in Gainesville.

The event will allow the public to bring documents for shredding. Donations will go toward the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.

Document Destruction Services Inc. will provide shredding services, with a maximum of five boxes per car.
