Hall County’s former Solid Waste Manager Cary Lawler has moved on. Lawler’s departure leaves a void in leadership over the county’s solid waste division, at least until the board of commissioners decides what to do with it. The county put its solid waste services, which are responsible for the county’s 13 compactor sites and transporting the collected waste to the landfill for disposal, up for bid this spring.
