The North East Georgia Tennis Association and Brenau University are holding a Rally for the Cure Tennis Clinic and Exhibition on May 2 at the Brenau Tennis Center.

Rally for the Cure is the largest grassroots program that includes golf, tennis and dining events created to support the promise of Susan G. Komen for the Cure and spread the message that early detection saves lives. The event will be held rain or shine.

The day’s activities will include a professional tennis clinic taught by various pros from the Gainesville area, a "Fastest Serve" contest, a special exhibition match featuring the Brenau Golden Tigers, lunch and a silent auction.

Each participant will receive a goody bag with important breast health information from the Komen foundation, gifts from area businesses and a one year magazine subscription.

Registration for the event ends today and costs $35.
