The suspect and victim in a stabbing Monday morning have been identified.

Shortly after 10 a.m. Monday, Ignacio Radats-Delgado was stabbed by 35-year-old Shannon Joe Head of Gainesville, according to Deputy Nicole Bailes with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.

A warrant for Head was obtained for aggravated assault. His whereabouts are still unknown.

Deputies responded to the call Monday in the 1300 block of East Ridge Road regarding a dispute in progress. During the course of the call, the dispute escalated to a stabbing.

Radats-Delgado sustained non-life threatening injuries to his abdomen and was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
