Between 75 and 80 percent of people in Hall County are overweight or obese, according to a study done by local health care leaders. Gale Starich, dean of the college of health and science at Brenau University and researcher in the study, said she recalculated the results four times because the numbers seemed too high. But she wasn’t wrong.
