A wreck on Thompson Mill Road in South Hall has traffic backed up almost to Spout Springs Road, according to a Hall County dispatcher.

The Hall County Sheriff's Department and Hall County Fire Services are working the wreck, which happened near Corners Drive.

 Two vehicles were involved in the wreck, and one person is being taken via helicopter to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, according to Hall County Sheriff's Col. Jeff Strickland.

While there is was no estimate as of 8 p.m. on how much longer traffic will be affected, the dispatcher expected it to be quite some time.

The Georgia State Patrol will be investigating the accident, Strickland said.
