Gainesville marked an early Fourth of July celebration on Saturday night with the annual fireworks show over Lake Lanier at Laurel Park. Thousands showed up to watch fireworks light up the sky as well as enjoying cookouts and entertainment. There were a variety of activities for children to enjoy before fireworks began including the Sprayground, inflatable slides, vendor booths, music and more.
