The Hall County Sheriff's Office has put out an alert for a missing Gainesville man.

Thomas E. Funk Jr., 47, was last seen on the evening of Oct. 1 by his roommate on Oconee Circle. The roommate found Funk's vehicle and cellphone Sunday morning.

Funk was treated recently for an injured foot in an accident suffered at his home.

Funk is 6 feet tall and 155 pounds, with green eyes and brown hair.

Anyone who with information on Funk's whereabouts is asked to contact the Hall County Sheriff's Office. The family is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to his return.
