Roads near Gainesville Target reopened following bomb threat

Gainesville Police cleared the scene of a bomb threat at the Gainesville Target after 3:30 p.m. Friday after investigating at the Shallowford Road store.

No one was taken in to custody as of 3:30 p.m. Friday, Holbrook said.

The surrounding area and side streets were closed as authorities assessed the situation, but the roads are now open, Sgt. Kevin Holbrook said.
