Recruiting event set for background check company coming to Flowery Branch

The Georgia Department of Labor will help Wholesale Screening Solutions recruit 50 research analysts to work in Flowery Branch. The background check company, which is a subsidiary of the Lowers Risk Group, plans to hire for those positions by October.

The recruitment will be held 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 19 and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 20 at the GDOL’s Gainesville Career Center located at 2756 Atlanta Highway. GDOL staff will be available to screen applicants.  

All applicants must be at least 18 years old. A high school diploma or a GED is required.

A minimum of one year of email and internet browser experience is required. Prior to interviews, all chosen applicants must be able to pass a 35-word-per-minute typing test. This test will be conducted at the career center.

Salaries will range from $10.50-$11.50 an hour.

Overtime hours will be required, and employee benefits include insurance opportunities, paid holidays, retirement funding, sick leave and tuition assistance.

Wholesale Screening Solutions is expected to fill an additional 100 positions by the end of 2017.
