Raccoon is first Hall rabies case of 2016

A raccoon was found to be rabid after contact with two dogs in the Cape Road area of East Hall. The raccoon was shipped to the Georgia Public Health Lab-Virology Section in Decatur. Hall County Animal Control was advised Thursday that the raccoon tested positive for rabies.
