Hall County is moving forward with its comprehensive plan update to guide and manage growth through 2040, and officials are encouraging residents to join the process. Officials have already approved a $150,000 contract for consulting services related to the plan update, which will address issues related to housing, land use, economic development, and cultural and environmental protection. The update, for example, could help direct investment in new community centers and parks, commercial businesses and residential development.
