Two people are suspected of shoplifting roughly $1,900 from a Gainesville LensCrafters on July 15, police said.

Gainesville Police released a video of the suspected shoplifting suspects at the Lakeshore Mall location in Gainesville.

Two people are seen looking at the lenses, as one woman hides an item under a piece of paper she’s holding, said Gainesville Police Investigator Glenn Ewing.

“The other subject does the same exact thing by concealing the items after she takes them off the shelves,” Ewing said.

Both leave the store without paying, Ewing said.

Gainesville Police are looking for help in identifying the two suspects. Anyone with any information in the case is asked to call police at 770-534-5254.

Management at the Lakeshore Mall LensCrafters deferred comment to a media department representative, who declined to comment.
