Law enforcement agencies said Monday they had little to no damage reports after Tropical Storm Nate made landfall Sunday and weakened to a tropical depression before reaching Hall County.
“Our calls for service went up during the storm, typically just from alarm calls, crashes, things of that nature,” Gainesville Police Sgt. Kevin Holbrook said. “No injuries like that reported.”
Hall County Sheriff’s Office sent a message on social media before 2 p.m. Sunday of a tree blocking Ga. 60/Candler Road at Roy Parks Road. Deputy Stephen Wilbanks said the storm’s effects were “minor.”
Jackson EMC reported no weather-related outages Sunday evening.
