A deliveryman for a Gainesville pizzeria was robbed tonight, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.

A driver for Jet’s Pizza reported being robbed about 7:30 p.m. by an African-American male wearing a white T-shirt and black shorts in the Floyd Road area, sheriff’s office spokesman Deputy John Marshall said.

The suspect was armed with a handgun and ran off with an undisclosed amount of money, Marshall said. No one was injured, and the case remains under investigation.
