An undercover Forsyth County Sheriff’s drug investigator reportedly caught a Peeping Tom suspect on his lunch break.According to the sheriff’s office, 55-year-old Stephen Roegge of Alpharetta was arrested after he allegedly took a photograph with his cell phone under a woman’s dress.Roegge was arrested about 1:30 p.m. Monday following an investigation at Firehouse Subs on Bethelview Road in Cumming.Capt. Ron Freeman said the undercover investigator was in line at the counter when he spotted Roegge, who was sitting at a nearby table.“He sees a young lady standing at the counter paying and he sees a man ... take his phone and kind of secretly slide it underneath the lady’s dress,” Freeman said. The investigator asked Roegge to step outside and began interviewing him, as well as customers at the restaurant who said they also had seen the incident, Freeman said. The 34-year-old woman was unaware of what had happened and was told by officials as she left the store, Freeman said.Roegge was charged with Peeping Tom and eavesdropping or surveillance, both felonies. He was released from the Forsyth County Detention Center after posting $11,220 bond, according to Karleen Chalker, sheriff’s spokeswoman. He is expected to appear in Superior Court on Aug. 1.“This is one of the first cases here in a long time,” Freeman said.
