Two acres of wooded area were burned Friday afternoon, believed to have been caused by an “unattended outdoor burn,” according to Hall County Fire Services interim deputy chief Chad Black. Fire services responded to Cagle Road around 1 p.m. Friday to the report of smoke, extinguishing the fire before any damage to residential properties. A privacy fence and 2 acres of wooded area were burned in the fire.
