The Gainesville Public Utilities Department will host an open house Friday from noon to 4 p.m. at Riverside Water Treatment Plant. The event is being held in celebration of National Drinking Water Week. Guests will be treated to tours and information on the amount of water that runs through the plant and how it’s treated.
