One driver was critically injured after a Jeep collided with a tractor-trailer Tuesday morning on Ga.60/Candler Highway. Georgia State Patrol responded after 7:30 a.m. to Candler Highway at Lee Land Road to a two-vehicle incident. John P. Smith, 37, of Gainesville, was driving a Jeep Cherokee northbound on Candler Highway, as a tractor-trailer driven by Joseph Strickland, 53, of Crawford headed southbound.
