With temperatures on the rise, child safety advocates are hoping to give tips to parents about the precious cargo in their backseats. Kim Martin, coordinator for Safe Kids Gainesville/Hall County, said two kids have died this year related to hot-car incidents in different states. “They’ve slowly decreased over the years, but we’ve already had two deaths and we just want to get the information out there,” Martin said.
