Oakwood residents should begin to see property tax bills in the mail.
The South Hall city is mailing them out today, with taxes due by Feb. 1.
Taxes will support the city's $3.6 million general operations budget for 2011. The City Council approved the spending plan on Nov. 8.
The city has a tax rate of 2.48 mills, with 1 mill equal to $1 for each $1,000 in assessed property value. Property is assessed at 40 percent in the city.
The tax rate has remained the same for 11 consecutive years.
