The University of North Georgia expanded its nursing program to the Gainesville campus and launched a new classroom and simulation lab in the past year. The expansion enables students to complete a full, four-year nursing degree there rather than having to transfer to the Dahlonega campus after two years of core instruction. The program accepted 60 students, and the campus expects its first Bachelor of Science in nursing graduates in December.
