A home in northeast Hall County was destroyed by fire overnight. No one was home at the time of the fire, which was called in just before 3 a.m. by a passer-by. The 1,000-square-foot structure in the 4800 block of Miller Lake Road was about 30 percent involved in fire when firefighters arrived.
