The new Braselton campus of Northeast Georgia Medical Center held its inaugural Love Light tree lighting celebration Tuesday.
Anthony Williamson, president of Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton, thanked the large crowd for its support of the new hospital.
“Thank you for helping us start a new tradition,” said Williamson, who noted he was pleased that the vision of using the impressive staircase for special events like this one was coming to fruition.
He acknowledged The Medical Center Auxiliary Love Light Garden as the first signature gift to the new hospital. The large outdoor tree was illuminated on Williamson’s signal during “O Holy Night,” performed by soloist Delana Crandall, worship leader at Blackshear Place Baptist Church.
