A fire that destroyed a vacant home Monday night in North Hall is suspicious, officials said.
Hall County Fire Marshal Scott Cagle said firefighters from three stations responded about 10 p.m. Monday to a fire at 8947 Forrester Road off Skitts Mountain Road. The 1,100-square foot woodframe house was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived, Cagle said.
The home was unoccupied and no one was hurt.
Cagle said the fire was suspicious because no one lived there and the fact that it was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived. A suspicious dump truck fire occurred at the same address about three weeks ago, Cagle said.
The fire is under investigation.
